چکیده
Abstract In aerospace engineering, high temperature alloys such as titanium are the preferred choice. However, machining of materials remains a major challenge due to process forces and temperatures. Currently, is performed almost entirely in presence oxygen. This results process-inherent oxidation metal surface, which leads higher tool wear during machining. By means an oxygen-free undesirable reactions will be avoided thus extension life. addition, extreme vacuum (XHV) adequate environment can influence resulting workpiece surface subsurface properties change chip formation. present work, under air XHV-adequate atmosphere examined with regard formation, topography residual stresses. Significant differences seen integrity depending on atmosphere.
